Japan Airlines, JAL, chooses Modesto's Silkwood 2004 Syrah Wine again...

Silkwood Wines Alicante Bouschet Voted Best at Houston Rodeo Wine Competition in Texas.

David Berkeley, White House Wine Consultant for President Ronald Reagan, told Mr. John Monnich, owner of Silkwood wines the following:

"John, I have one thing to say to you.  Your wines are mature.  Your wines are mature.  Your wines are mature."

Berkeley selected the Silkwood Cellars, Chardonay 1979 for President Reagan's menu on Wednesday, March 11, 1982.
